Fresh off a thrilling 128-116 win over the Chicago Bulls at The Mecca, the New York Knicks are set to complete their back-to-back stretch at home.

The Knicks, sitting at 3-3, will host rookie guard Tre Johnson and the 1-5 Washington Wizards tonight, with tip-off scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET.

As the Knicks enter Monday night fresh off snapping a three-game losing streak, the Wizards arrive in New York amid a four-game skid of their own.

Washingtonโ€™s roster is built around its young core, rookie guard Tre Johnson, forward Alex Sarr, and second-year wing Bilal Coulibaly, while also featuring a mix of seasoned veterans such as CJ McCollum, Khris Middleton, and Corey Kispert, who each play key roles in the teamโ€™s rotation.

The Wizardsโ€™ season got off to a promising start with a 10-point win over Dallas on October 24, but things have unraveled since. Washington has dropped four straight, surrendering 139 points to Charlotte, blowing a 19-point lead in Philadelphia, getting handled by 19 against Oklahoma City, and suffering a 31-point defeat to Orlando.

Defensively, the Wizards have been a mess, giving up an NBA-worst 128.3 points per game. Thatโ€™s an inviting matchup for Mike Brownโ€™s Knicks, who come in scorching hot after beating the Bulls on Sunday.

While Washington ranks inside the leagueโ€™s top 10 in both rebounding and three-point efficiency, its issues with offensive consistency, turnovers, and overall defensive execution have overshadowed those bright spots.

On Sunday night, the Knicks caught fire early.

Jalen Brunson set the tone from the opening tip, dropping 19 of his 31 points in a dominant first quarter that immediately put New York in control. He shot 10-for-22 from the field, helping propel New York to victory over the 5-0 Bulls.

New Yorkโ€™s bench was equally vital, combining for 46 points to keep the momentum rolling after the startersโ€™ early surge. Jordan Clarkson provided the spark off the pine, finally resembling the dynamic scorer the Knicks expected when they brought him in.

The veteran guard poured in 15 points on 6-of-11 shooting, including three triples, helping the Knicks maintain their edge in a convincing win over Chicago to improve to 3-0 at home on the season.
