What is Knicks X-Factor?
Knicks X-Factor is a premium digital media organization that covers the NBA’s New York Knicks, while simultaneously offering fans news, stats, analytics, film, podcasts, live videos, and more—through the internet publishing industry via sports news and content.
Knicks X-Factor is a media organization producing high-quality content specific to the New York Knicks of the NBA (National Basketball Association). Co-founded in 2024 by Robby Sabo and Michael Nania, Knick X reports AP-style news in a first-hand and authoritative manner. Knicks X-Factor also delivers unique basketball-driven content through film breakdowns, original analytics, and much more.
Knicks X-Factor is not a fan site. Knicks X’s mission features an AP-Style, journalistically responsible media organization providing fans the information they need—rather than what they want—to hear. Furthermore, although the diehard New York Knicks fan is Knicks X-Factor’s top target, we believe it’s critical to appeal to each type of fan—which ultimately showcases content classifications including in-depth film analysis, analytics, credentialed first-hand media information, daily news and rumors, viral social media content, and much more.

Michael Nania is the best analytical New York Knicks mind in the world, combining his statistical expertise with game film to add proper context to the data. Nania is also a co-founder of Jets X-Factor, which features Nania’s Numbers, Nania’s QB Grades and Nania’s All-22, giving fans a deeper and more well-rounded dive into the Jets than anyone else can offer.
Bryan Pol is an English teacher, music and film aficionado, husband, father of two delightful boys, writer, sports fanatic, former Long Islander, and follower of Christ. Based on my Long Island upbringing, I was groomed as a Yankees, Giants, Rangers, and Knicks fan, and picked up Duke basketball, Notre Dame football, and Tottenham Hotspur football fandom along the way.
