Based on my Long Island upbringing, I was groomed as a Yankees, Giants, Rangers, and Knicks fan, and picked up Duke basketball, Notre Dame football, and Tottenham Hotspur football fanhood along the way.
Ever since the start of the Patrick Ewing era, the New York Knicks were my first ever love in professional sports, a relationship that has seen many ups and downs, though I love them no differently now than I did then. The ‘90s era Knicks were what sports fandom was all about for me.
