The path to a New York Knicks repeat has officially been revealed.

The NBA unveiled the full schedule for its 2026-27 season on Thursday, the latest landmark in the countdown to the Knicks’ title defense is official.

Bits and pieces of the slate, such as the Knicks’ opening night and Christmas Day assignments, were revealed earlier this week, but the Knicks know where they’ll be over the coming fall, winter, and spring as they seek a fourth championship following their dominant run through the most recent bracket.

The main attractions are, of course, the early reveals. On Oct. 20, New York will raise the banner that OG Anunoby, Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, and more earned in June in front of a new-look Philadelphia 76ers group at Madison Square Garden.

A Finals rematch against the San Antonio Spurs will also ring in the five-game Christmas slate on Dec. 25, also at MSG. Another near-annual holiday tradition is observed on Jan. 18, when the Knicks host the Minnesota Timberwolves as part of the Martin Luther King Jr. Day observance.

But Knicks fans will also take note of some of the reunions and homecomings on the calendar.

Mitchell Robinson will have to be a little patient about the wait for his 2026 ring, as his new employers in Boston won’t visit until March 14. The Knicks will also face Julius Randle as a member of the Brooklyn Nets when the cross-borough rivalry resumes on Nov. 2 at MSG.

The Knicks will also face their other playoff victims, Cleveland and Atlanta, for the first time on Nov. 7 and 29, respectively. They’ll return to San Antonio, the site of the famous championship clinch, during their annual road trip brought about by the Big East Men’s Basketball Tournament on March 7.

Already an eternal national draw, the Knicks’ endeavors drew massive interest from the Association’s national television partners, especially given their title defense. National networks and streamers from Amazon, NBC, and The Walt Disney Company will air a combined 34 Knicks games this year, beginning with four of their first six. All outliers will be covered locally on MSG Network, unless otherwise adjusted.

The Knicks’ longest homestand at MSG is a five-game stretch to close out November, featuring two NBA Cup group games against Cleveland and Miami. The latter will be streaming on Prime Video on Black Friday night.

New York also faces Philadelphia and Indiana in East Group B play as it seeks to defend its in-season title in addition to its late spring Larry O’Brien Trophy hoist.

The Knicks’ slate between Dec. 4 and 11 has yet to be determined, as those slots are left blank across the Association to accommodate Cup happenings. The Knicks are the only team in the league to partake in all three knockout rounds staged to date.

New York will ring in the new year with a six-game road trip that serves as its longest trek of the season. It begins in Utah on Dec. 30 with a holiday tilt in Phoenix the next night. The lengthy trek also works through Denver, Portland, Golden State, and Sacramento. This regular season concludes on Apr. 11 when the Knicks face Indiana at home.
