The New York Knicks won’t be drawing a Deuce in Las Vegas this week.

The team stated that reserve guard Miles McBride will be out for at least another seven days as it continues to keep an eye on his recent ankle injury. McBride will be re-evaluated at that point as the Knicks (17-7) continue to trend upward on the Eastern Conference leaderboard.

McBride was endured the ailment during Sunday’s win over Orlando, leaving after he was fouled by Desmond Bane during second half action. The injury will thus keep McBride out of the Knicks’ quest for in-season glory.

McBride sat out of the NBA Cup quarterfinal win in Toronto on Tuesday and won’t be available for either the semifinal against Orlando on Saturday in Las Vegas (5:30 p.m. ET, Prime Video) or the potential championship three days later. New York is in the Sin City portion of the competition for the first time since its inception in 2023.

The Knicks were winless in three McBride-less showings prior to Tuesday’s win. He’s averaging 11.6 points and shooting over 44% from three-point range in 20 showings this season, both career-bests in his fifth tour of New York.

With McBride out, the Knicks have succeeded with extended minutes from sophomore draft pick Tyler Kolek and have also enjoyed the return of another backcourt talent in starter OG Anunoby. Following the Vegas vacation, the Knicks’ next schedule game lands on Dec. 18 in Indiana.
