During the New York Knicksโ€™ 127-104 loss to the Orlando Magic on Wednesday night, guard Jalen Brunson suffered a right ankle injury.

After the game, head coach Mike Brown told reporters the only information he had was that Brunson โ€œturned his right ankle.โ€

According to James Edwards III of The Athletic, Brunson later left Madison Square Garden on crutches while wearing a walking boot.

Against the Magic, Brunson was New York’s leading scorer, finishing the night with 31 points, coupled with six assists, while shooting 10-of-23 from the field (43.5%), and converting one of his four shots from three-point range (25%).

New York will hope for good news in the coming days. Until then, the Knicks are left to hold their breath and hope their most reliable player isnโ€™t facing anything long-term.
